posted Jun 10, 2019, 12:04 PM by NLCC MJ Miller   [ updated Aug 17, 2019, 11:35 PM ]
This weekend is a mandatory event as it is required to get everything finished and ready for our Annual Ceremonial Review and Inspection.
If you cannot make this weekend, you will need to get leave from the Commanding Officer.

We have had a busy past several weeks preparing for our Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) where you get to show off all the things you have learned through the Training term:

  • March Pasts and Parade Formations
  • Music and playing your instruments
  • Dynamic and Static displays
  • Boating Safety and Equipment
  • And much, much more...
As well as our Onboards which also taught you:

  • Uniform maintenance - ironing and when you need creases or not
  • White Top Maintenance - keep them nice and white
  • Boots Maintenance - keep them black and shiny

On Sunday, June 9, 2019, the Cadets will be participating in our Annual Ceremonial Review at NLCC MJ Miller. This Review is to show off our Corps spirit to the Reviewing and Inspecting Officers as well as invited guests. As such, dress for this event is your full, clean, ironed, polished, and otherwise impeccable Service Dress (No. 1 Uniform) with pea coat.
Cadets with long hair (longer than your shirt collar) must have their hair done up in a bun with a hairnet. Absolutely no ponytails!!!!

As always:  Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend and to take photographs as the Cadets will also be receiving the awards for the year!!
